All Around The Wrekin ("Tolkien's Middle Earth" )

Hi, it’s Jon. Paul has an unusual fetish. Pick a hill, Climb it,
Then see what other lumps you can see from the top, pick
one and then pursue it next time.

We’ve reached the Wrekin.

I hope you enjoy our pictures and find an opportunity to
Visit, just off J7 of the M54 near to Telford.

It’s one of the most stunning and most spiritually lifting
Days I have found since the arrival of cool and misty
Winter months.

Starting on the North West side, traversing up the centre,
each corner turned provides a new interesting view. Some
effort is required to reach the summit at 1335 feet, as the
climb is quite steep in places. Shelter can be found
by descending a few feet to some rocky crags called the
Needles Eye.

Descending via Shropshire Way and then turning anti-
Clockwise through Gibbons Coppice, a glorious mixed
Wood, which at this time of year is sequined with the
Many colours of Autumn. Back down to a large
exposed granite face.

As I am vocally minimalist, please take time to view our
Rather large pictures which in my opinion give far
More pleasure than my little preamble.
